BRAND TOOLKIT FOR VRT NWS SUB-BRAND
NWSNWSNWS is a sub-brand of VRT NWS, the national public broadcaster of Flemish Belgium. It delivers news to young Flemish audiences entirely through Instagram.
We began by studying how brands communicate with younger audiences on social platforms, especially when addressing sensitive subjects. From those insights, we built a concise visual toolkit centred on three ideas: playfulness, tactility, and shared participation. The result is a system that feels handcrafted and collaborative: a warm, optimistic space where information feels personal and inclusive.A playful sub-brand for Flemish national public service broadcaster VRT NWS, providing news for young people.
